Conspiracy: Is HAARP Technology Behind the Devastating Turkish Earthquake?

HAARP (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is a research program based in Gakona, Alaska, that was established to study the ionosphere, a region of the Earth's upper atmosphere. The ionosphere is important for communication and navigation systems because radio signals can be reflected back to the Earth by this layer, allowing for long-distance radio communication.

The HAARP facility consists of a high-frequency radio transmitter that can send powerful radio waves into the ionosphere. These waves can cause changes in the ionosphere, and scientists can observe these changes to better understand the behavior of the ionosphere and how it interacts with other parts of the Earth's atmosphere and magnetic field. The research conducted at HAARP provides valuable information for improving communication and navigation systems and studying the Earth's environment and its interactions with the sun.

The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) was initiated as an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

Many authors have questioned the diabolical nature of the HAARP project, The notion that HAARP can be used to create earthquakes, as part of an integrated non-conventional weapons program. One such author Professor Michel Chossudovsky is a well-known economist, who has written extensively on a wide range of topics, including economics, globalization, and military affairs. His work is often characterized by a critical perspective on government policies and a focus on the intersection of economics, politics, and military power.

In regard to his claims about the military use of weather control, it's important to note that the US military has been interested in the potential use of weather modification for military purposes for decades. The author in his article quoted the US Air Force document AF 2025 Final Report, where they mentioned that it “offers the war fighter a wide range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary”, capabilities, it says, extend to the triggering of floods, hurricanes, droughts, and earthquakes:

While Professor Chossudovsky's work can be thought-provoking and insightful, it is important to approach his claims critically and consider the evidence before accepting them as fact. Additionally, earthquakes are caused by the movement of tectonic plates in the Earth's crust, and his suggestion that radio waves from HAARP or any other technology can induce these movements is subject to further evidence-based proof.

Was Turkey a victim?

A researcher working in SSGEOS (Solar System Geometry Survey), a research institute for monitoring geometry between celestial bodies related to seismic activity on 3rd February posted on a social media platform that Sooner or later there will be a ~M 7.5 earthquake in this region involving South-Central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon on a social media platform.

The said researcher pinpointed the region of the seismic activity, which remains a questionable entity, i.e., how was he able to conclude that the exact region was to be hit by the devastating quake. 

Another reason people are placing doubts on the origin or cause of the earthquake is the videos and images being circulated on social media wherein right before the earthquake there is lightning in different directions of the sky, its authenticity is to be verified. This phenomenon has been attributed to the concept of "Earthquake Lights", wherein the aerial lights appear in the sky at or near areas of tectonic stress, seismic activity, or volcanic eruptions.

However, Dr. Jeny Jenkins, an assistant professor at Dirham University has shed light on the happenings in Turkey on 6th February in an article. In her article, she explained that Turkey is located at the crossroads of three tectonic plates that form the Earth's outer layer: the Anatolian, Arabian, and African plates. Shifting of the Arabian plate northwards into Europe resulted in the displacement of the Anatolian plate, which Turkey rests upon, towards the west causing the quake.

Accommodating the speculations that the HAARP technology was used as a weapon to make turkey fall in line with the west remains thought-provoking and given turkey's refusal to submit. However, these types of missions remain secret for a long till people forget about these events.

Whatever the reason, the human suffering continues in Turkey and the neighboring war-torn Syria, wherein as I am writing this article the death toll has crossed 20,000 and the number is expected to rise. The UN should be prompt enough to look for any discrepancies wherein many have alleged that aid is reaching the Turkish areas whereas Syria continues to suffer. More than 160,000 people are believed to be displaced.
